Begining of the Selection Process

The Mucho Mas Mayo Festival Selection Committee composed by:

Fernando Vázquez (Director of CEHIFORM – Historical Photography Archive.)

Antonio Martínez (Director of Cartagena´s Film Festival),
Pedro Medina (Coordinator of the European Institute of Design.)

Pedro Ortuño (Artist and teacher of Fine Arts - University of Murcia)
Margarita Amante (Artistic Director of Mudanzas Festival)

 They will meet the 2nd of January to select the projects that will participate in the third edition of M+M Festival, depending on how interesting they are and how viable to produce them.

The deadline for the inscriptions is over. In it´s short life, this activity organized by the youth Council of Cartagena has grown rapidly. This year 93 projects have subscribed and this shows us that interest is growing.

On top of the projects coming from Cartagena (which are the majority), we want to point out the projects received from other places of the province, other Spanish cities and a project from Helsinki (Finland).

 The Mucho Más MayoFestival  (The Young  Talents Festival) which this year will be held from the 9^th to the 18^th of May will complete it´s program with another series of productions and guests of the festival that include the concert “Mestizos”, a big street theater show, art workshop, the Short Week Film Festival and a series of conferences.

 As an innovation this year, the festival is  planned to operate in a specific zone of the city with projects of both an ephemeral and permanent character.
